About The Area
Thompson is a rural town of about 9,500 people that sits nestled in the northeastern corner of Connecticut. Bordered by both Massachusetts and Rhode island, the town covers 48.7 square miles, many of which is farmland. Since 1938, Thompson has been home to the family owned and operated Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP), which features a historic raceway and classic 18-hole golf course.
