About The Area

Gales Ferry is a village located in the town of Ledyard, CT. Situated along the eastern bank of the Thames River, the area is named after the ferry that once traveled along the waterway to Uncasville. The ferry was established in 1740 and owned by Roger Gale from 1759 to 1764. Today the former ferry landing site is home to Yale’s varsity crew boathouse, where the team has trained for the past 100 years for the nation’s oldest intercollegiate sporting event, the annual four mile race against Harvard.

Having experienced some other contractors on other projects, it was a pleasure to relax and know that the work was being done correctly and to my satisfaction. I will not hesitate to call you again for my next project.

When I first saw the installed Gutter Guard, I was skeptical of how much water it would pull in. Several thunderstorms later, I’m very impressed how well it works!

May We Suggest…

Waterloov’s two rows of alternating slats collect rainwater while preventing leaves and other large debris from entering gutters. In the winter, it keeps ice from falling inside, which can potentially build up and cause gutters to pull away from your house. Waterloov can be installed on existing or new gutters and on all types of roofing with any angle of pitch. No nails, glue or fasteners of any kind are ever used that could leak or damage your roofing. It comes with a lifetime performance warranty. Learn more by clicking here.
