About The Area
Old Lyme is a seaside town in New London County, Connecticut. It boasts beautiful beaches like Soundview as well as a vast artistic community.
The Florence Griswold Museum, situated in the former home of its namesake, features the work of American Impressionist paintings. Also located in Old Lyme is the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, founded in 1976. The school offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting, sculpture, illustration and drawing as well as a post-baccalaureate and 3-year certificate program.
