About The Area
East Haddam is located in Middlesex County, Connecticut and is home to about 9,000 residents. One of the most famous landmarks in the town is Gillette’s Castle, a medieval looking castle that overlooks the Connecticut River. The structure was originally the private residence of William Gillette, an American actor known for his stage portrayal of Sherlock Holmes.
