About The Area

Danielson is a borough in the town of Killingly, CT. It is named after General James Danielson, the first person to build a home in the area. With its rich history, Danielson has two districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They include the Danielson Main Street Historic District, located along Main Street from Water Street to Spring Streets, as well as the Broad Street – Davis Park Historic District. Drive through these areas and you’ll be transported back to a time to when architectural styles like tick/Eastlake, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival dominated.

If you’re feeling adventurous, head over to Skydive Danielson, a family owned and operated business that has been operating out of the Danielson Airport since 1997. They are the only full time, seven-day-a-week facility in Connecticut and operate from April through November.

Testimonials From Danielson Residents

We just love our Great Lakes Maxuus 10 windows with krypton gas! We can’t praise them enough … After doing a lot of research in stores and on-line before we went to your business, we reached the conclusion that these windows you sell are price and quality far better than other so-called “top of the line” brands.

– David & Claudette H., Danielson, CT
