Colchester (06415) is located in New London County, Connecticut. With its vast expanse of land, Colchester was also the first town in Connecticut and 36th in the country to be certified as a Community Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

The trail dates back to the 1870s, with a railroad track that used to run from New York to Boston.
